Birthday Shot.

My Birthday Shot
Half-full Glass of
Johnny Walker-Black Label
Spent a great night of non-stop eating, drinking and chilling with the boys of the gang. Man. I friggin have a headache at the moment, but nevertheless! My 19th birthday was ozum. What made it more ozum was this friggin shot of JW-Black Label.

I won't ever try to drink a half-glass of Black since it just made my tummy turn. LOL. First puke of the 19th year! Looking forward to my 20th next year! :D

Thanks to my supportive parents, to the people who remembered my birthday, even if it is hidden of Facebook, and to the guys who went and celebrated last night at my house. :D

A Floody Sunday

Wow. It's been ages since I last updated my blog. I went on a hiatus for  about 2 months due to a very demanding workload of my academics. But I guess I'll be updating my blog more often now, since the 2nd term of my 3rd year in DLSU is nearing its end.

To start off, let me share some stuff that happened to me today. Let me begin at the part when I woke up. It was around 12 noon, a very typical time of starting my sunday. I BBMed my friend CJ (YES. I currently have a BB or a Black Berry, add me up on BBM if you also have one! My Pin is 222B917C) that he should send me a message as soon as he wakes up. Why? coz I have to pick some documents from his house for my TREDFOR Finals Paper. After an hour, I received a GO signal from him that I can already go to his house. So immediately prepped some of the things which I will be bringing to his place, a camera, my iPad, wallet, and the chargers for my gadgets.

Freaking Flood at Antipolo
As I reached the vicinity of his house, I immediately went and said to myself, "HOWLI MADER PADER..". Why? It's because of the freaking flooded streets. I was forced to go down my car, and wait for my friend CJ somewhere in that area. I waited for around 20 minutes under the shed of a tindahan ; or a "mini-convenience store" in english, and encountered a number of roaches. Some suddenly appeared on top of my feet, another set randomly flied across the street, some were swimming on the flooded road. I was like a freaking statue at the place where I was standing.

So I had no choice but to find another place "SAFE" and roach-free. I decided to go to the nearby street, and thank goodness! It was not flooded and had a very comfy shelter. No roach or any other thing that would suddenly appear from out of nowhere. I waited for a few minutes till I received a call from CJ telling me that he is already there. I immediately went to where he was in order to escape the accursed flooded street. After that floody waiting, I was finally able to reach CJ's crib. Upon reaching his house, he told me to clean myself up, sanitize the parts of my body that got exposed in the flood, and dry myself asap to avoid any sickness. After which, we went on the search for all the files I needed. We browsed some photo albums, folders, and found some surprising photos of CJ and his brothers when they were kids.

Upon finishing the tasks for my short visit, we then chilled at the master bed-room while watching an episode of Junior Master Chef. Some time passed, and we then left his house since he had to accompany his younger brothers to their parents for a party somewhere in Makati. He first brought me home where I prepared my laptop and some files for my Paper, then he went straight to their parent's office.

Around an hour passed, he called me again, informing that he is somewhat near. Well, for the next few moments, we chilled at a Cafe near their place. I'll be posting another post since it is more appropriate to dedicate a separate post for a "TASTY COFFEE SESSION".

Heights.

I've been getting this weird dream related to certain "heights" this past days. There's this dream about a "chase" on the tallest building I ever saw, and there is this one about jumping off a building, and a falling tall tower. I don't know why I am having this weird dreams, but whenever I get them, I always wake-up after the "climax" of each dream.

The last dream was quite gory though. I think my mind fabricated a semi-real happening quite well. Since it was about people jumping off a building, there were quite a lot of blood involved. Like there was  this scene where a kid suddenly jumped from the 4th floor of a this certain building, I kinda experienced his fall, I heard the impact, saw the blood all over the place, and a semi-dis-configured face which I believe was due to a face-first landing. I didn't want to remember that dream very much yet I can't forget those scenes of blood and shit. After this scene, the setting of my dream changed, it became a very familiar place, it was a view quite similar with the view that we have from our balcony at my house.

At the new setting of my dream, there was one thing out of place though. A tower-like TV which is shaped like a sign-board of the "this way" please. Somewhat like the image at the right, just change the box-thingy into a TV screen like the one from the Big Apple.
Anyways, going back to the dream, so there was this big tower-like TC at this house at the street across our house. I was with four individuals and one of them vaguely looks like Gab. One of my buddies in real life. We climbed the tower-like TV, and inside that specific building, we chilled like a boss.

After a few moments in that tower, it felt somewhat wrong, like the tower was swaying. I tried bending over to a direction, and I was right, the tower was really swaying, though it was a dream, it felt like I was really there on that tower. The four of us desperately tried to make it balanced once again so that we won't make the that tower go "TIMBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER". But after some tried of making the tower stay standing, It fell. Surprisingly, when the tower fell, no one was hurt, I don't know if this was due to the fact that it was only a dream or not, but it was definitely an experience worth remembering.

Good thing, unlike most of my other dreams which I easily forget right after waking up, I didn't forget this set of dreams. The dreams about different scales of Heights.

Road Trip.

Yesterday was insane. Never thought that a simple trip to Tagaytay could turn into one of the best and most unforgettable trip ever. Well, it was definitely the one of the few moments to go on a road trip with dudes who were munching sandwiches during the whole ride. If you know what I mean. LOL. Was able to reach the destination due to our driver's intense Traffic Avoidance Skills. Very impressed with the chill weather outside. Actually, it was slightly storming. A few broken branches of various trees and drenched ground welcomed us at Tagaytay.

Then, went to chill at Starbucks while waiting for our other friends who got stuck in traffic. Where we smoked in a no smoking area, outside the shade when it was raining a little bit, and the light on the sticks keep on getting off. LOL. A few moments later, our companions arrived then went off to a marketplace to eat a semi-lunch, semi-dinner. Bulalo. Adobong Pusit. YUMMMM. Solid Food Trip. Then, yeah. We returned to the road right after eating, straight to the Town House of Poch's ninang. Greeted by a very strong wind, rain, and some intense jokes on the missed moment during the trip to munch some sandwich. It was an intense experience to brave the storm to drink. And munch. HRMM. It was really the Highlands that time. Intense Storm. Great Company. GSM Blue Shots. and Good Sandwiches. Yummeh!

One of the best Road Trips. Ever. Indeed.

I Finished a 10k Run without Giving Up Halfway through it.

Rexona Adventure Run 2011
Guess what happened to me last July 25, 2011, Sunday at the Mall of Asia in Pasay! I survived my First Ever 10k Run! YEAH! It was the Run sponsored by Rexona Philippines, entitled Rexona Run 2011. Though I had a pretty long time (1:49:08 to be exact) running, What matters to is that I was able to finish the Run without incurring any sprain, cramps or even fading of my consciousness or in short, fainting.

I had the Bib number 11067, which I had to claim early in the morning from a pretty chick who is one of the organizers of the event *Thanks to our good friend, JR*. And pretty much waited till the start of the run.

After quite a while, The run started and pretty much exposed me on a new world. It was my first time to run with thousands of people; from young to old, from men to females and the variety. I saw a lot of different expressions on their faces, some were dead serious on the run, others were just chilling, and i think i'm one of those guys who chilled. LOL. But seriously, I think the run made me realize how hard it was to overcome some challenges in life. Why? it was because I came to a point in the course of the run wherein I was thinking of just quitting the run and return to the starting point. I think I was very much affected by my mindset of giving up whenever my body can't really take anymore of the fatigue which i was gaining. But good thing, I recalled the song of Justin Bieber, "NEVER SAY NEVER" (Thanks to the random dude who appeared beside me who played this song on full volume on his iPod). It gave me some sort of a motivation to finish the run and give me some experience which I am currently proud of. I felt some sort of achievement when I reached the Finish Line, saw some photographers taking shots of the runners who finished the race, And just then did it strike me that..

"I finished a 10k Run without Giving Up Halfway through it.. :)"

So I encourage you readers to join me in the upcoming runs that will be held in other areas. When you see a chubby dude with a shaggy hair and a Wayfarer-ish kind of glasses, don't be shy and approach me. You never know, we might end up as running buddies for the other runs ;)

Experience.

This week has been one of the most tiring yet a fun week at the same time. Never thought engaging in various road trips, activities and sessions would be this strenuous. And to add more spice on top, this week also gave me loads of pains and injuries on various parts of my body, but who cares? As long as I get to experience those activities while I'm still quite young, I'd be more than happy to suffer a sprain or two.

Last Tuesday, February 15, We had LEAP Classes. Students got scattered all over the metro. Some went to their respective classes, Some ditched those classes and made their own LEAP of their lives. As for me, I went to Mall of Asia. Not to shop or be on watch to spot some chicks. But to spend around 3 hours learning how to Ice Skate. Yeah, thats right. I literally TRIED to learn how to Ice Skate. Fortunately with the help of some professionals,  experienced friends and of course, a number of falling on your butt due to failure. I was able to get the gist of how to skate. ACHIEVEMENT! But despite the feeling of fulfillment, I had to go home with a very sore body and a semi-wasted mind as my trophy for being able to Ice Skate properly.

Next was the GV night at the house of a good friend of mine. We usually drink some Hard liquor or beer whenever we come over his place, but that night was a little bit different. We drank the so-called PJ Mix. It was so good that when I got home, I was knocked out immediately. LOL. I really didn't expect that drink to hit me that hard but analyzing the contents of that drink carefully, A normal person would really get drunk immediately after a shot or two of that mix. We also talked about what plans can be done for the approaching birthday of one of us. Man, the plans that we talked about really got me excited since it will be another new experience for me if that dude were to push through with the plan.

So much for skating and drinking, let's move on to what happened today. Today, February 19, we went to Laguna in order to have an ECOTREK. Though the ride going to the venue was quite long and tiring, especially if you're group got lost in a place where you are really unfamiliar with, the experience we had gained was worth the ride.  We did a lot of fun games and enjoyed the harmonious ambiance of the environment. We also got to experience swimming in a "lukewarm" pool which was supposed to be a Hot Spring. LOL. We also had done a Photo shoot at the venue, it was really a memorable experience since it was my first ECO-TREK with my Organization. Since this day was quite action-packed, I currently have a sprain on my feet. LOL. Despite the injuries I incurred, this experience was still definitely worth getting a sprain for!

P.S.
Happy Birthday Mom! :D
